A Safe Place for the Dogs No One Else Will Take

We take in the dogs considered “unadoptable.” Many have aggression issues or troubled pasts. Here, they are not judged or discarded. They are given what every dog deserves — a chance simply to exist.

Our Mission

Don't Cage Me In Animal Rescue, Inc., based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, provides sanctuary for dogs other rescues would euthanize. These are the so-called “unadoptable” dogs — often labeled aggressive, dangerous, or too difficult to place.

We do not promise adoption. Instead, we promise life. Here, dogs have a safe space, proper care, and dignity. No long-term caging. No being cast aside. Just a chance to exist.

Dogs in Our Care

We don’t call them adoptable. We call them worthy of life.

How We Care

  1. Safe Sanctuary: Permanent, cage-free environment for dogs deemed unadoptable.
  2. Veterinary Care: Basic health, pain management, and comfort.
  3. Behavioral Understanding: We don’t expect every dog to be “fixed.” We accept them as they are.
  4. Daily Enrichment: Toys, blankets, beds, and safe spaces so they can relax and feel secure.
